Laurence Barrère is a finance professional with over 20 years proven experience with a deep knowledge of Luxury and retail business, strong understanding of brand strategies in an international environment. Laurence Barrère, has a 15-year track record in Kering and held various positions in Finance (Group and House); before taking her position as a Sustainable Finance Director in 2022. This new department is set up to take into consideration extra-financial issues, in particular on social and climate, new regulations and the convergence of financial and non-financial reporting, the growing interest and demand from investors in terms of ESG, the necessary transformation of the Group's business model to meet these social and environmental challenges. Among her other missions, Laurence ensures the Group's constant compliance with the new recent and future requirements regarding extra-financial reporting and Green Finance as well as guarantying the integration of social and environmental issues in the Group's management and decision-making processes, more particularly in terms of investments and M&A.
